The roles worth having are filled before they reach you.
By the time a good role is posted publicly, it has typically been open internally for weeks and shopped through referral networks. What reaches the job board is the residue.
Life Sciences professionals are also the least likely to be scanning listings — they are heads-down, employed, and not actively looking. The roles that would move their careers forward pass by silently.
A scout that monitors the market so you don't have to.
MeridianRoles works in the background, pulling from public job boards and ATS platforms, scoring every available role against your full profile, and discarding anything that does not clear the quality bar.
The result is a handful of genuinely relevant matches — each scored, explained, and ready to act on. Not 200 listings. Not noise.
Every match scored, ranked, and explained.
Only roles that clear the quality bar reach your digest — from 6.5 for a role at a seniority level you selected, 7.0 for everything else. Anything below is filtered out before it ever reaches you.
Principal Scientist, Translational Oncology
Strong match: Direct match on translational oncology. Ten years across two Phase II programmes, with the biomarker work in your Extended CV mapping to their pipeline. South San Francisco within stated preference.
Associate Director, Clinical Development
Strong match: A step up into clinical development leadership. CRO scale fits your reported programme ownership. Seniority scores below role fit because this would be your first line-management post.
Director, Medical Affairs
Strong match: Functional alignment is strong and medical devices exposure appears in your Extended CV. Scored lower on seniority — the posting asks for prior director-level experience you do not yet have.

Frequently asked questions
What is MeridianRoles?
MeridianRoles is a personal AI job scout for Life Sciences professionals. It monitors public job boards and applicant tracking systems in the background against your full profile and delivers a short, scored digest of high-fit roles across pharma, biotech, CRO, medical devices, and digital health.
Who is MeridianRoles for?
Life Sciences professionals across career stages — from Scientists and Clinical Project Managers to Medical Affairs Managers, Regulatory leads, Directors, VPs, and C-suite executives — in pharma, biotech, CRO, medical devices, digital health, and clinical research, searching for roles in the United States, including US-based remote roles. Particularly useful for employed professionals who want to monitor the market without spending hours on job boards.
How does the fit score work?
Every role is scored from 1.0 to 10.0 across four dimensions: role fit (skills and functional match), seniority and experience, education (alignment with the qualifications the role states), and context (geography, compensation, vertical). Role fit carries the most weight. The bar a role must clear depends on its level: a role whose title places it at a seniority level you selected reaches your digest from 6.5, while every other role must reach 7.0. The composite score and a plain-English rationale are shown for every match.
How often does the scout run?
The scout works in the background — you never schedule it or trigger it. New roles are picked up and scored soon after they appear on a monitored source, and only matches that clear the quality bar reach your digest.
Does MeridianRoles auto-apply to jobs?
No. MeridianRoles never auto-applies. A high score earns a tailored CV and cover letter on request — but the decision to apply is always yours. This is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation.
How is it different from LinkedIn Premium?
LinkedIn Premium recommends roles based on a single platform's data and algorithmic suggestions. MeridianRoles actively scouts across multiple job boards and ATS platforms, scores each role with a four-factor breakdown and plain-English rationale, and generates a tailored CV and cover letter matched to the specific role. It is built specifically for Life Sciences professionals in the United States — not a general-purpose job board.
What job sources does it monitor?
MeridianRoles monitors aggregated job feeds as well as Life Sciences career boards. For companies on your watchlist it also reads their applicant tracking system directly.
How does the tailored CV work?
When you save a match, MeridianRoles reads the job description alongside your Extended CV (a detailed career narrative you upload), Standard CV, and Biography Statement. It generates a tailored CV that selects and re-sequences your own content to foreground the most relevant experience for that specific role — in your own voice, not fabricated.
What countries and regions are covered?
MeridianRoles covers Life Sciences roles across the United States (Boston, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, New Jersey, Research Triangle, and beyond), including remote roles based in the US. Roles located outside the United States are out of scope.
How much does it cost?
Two plans. Watch is $19.99 a month for market monitoring, a curated digest and your company watchlist. Search is $39.99 a month and adds 20 tailored CV and cover letter pairs each month. Both can be prepaid: three months saves 10%, six months saves 15%, and Watch can be prepaid for a year at $192, a saving of 20%. Tailored documents are also sold separately as Document Packs, starting at $4.99.
Can I use it alongside a recruiter?
Yes. MeridianRoles monitors public listings. A recruiter works your network and retained search mandates. The two are complementary, not competitive.
What happens to my CV data?
Your CV, Extended CV, and Biography Statement are stored securely in your account, encrypted at rest. They are used only to generate matching signals and tailored documents for you. They are not shared with employers, not used to train AI models, and not visible to other users. You can export all your data or delete your account at any time.
