Terms of Service

By creating an account or using MeridianRoles (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

MeridianRoles provides an AI-powered job scouting service for individual job seekers. The Service searches job boards and employer career pages, scores job listings against your profile using AI, and delivers curated match digests. MeridianRoles does not apply for roles on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance at the frequency you select (monthly, quarterly, or annual). All prices are shown in USD. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not issued for partial periods except where required by applicable law.

Document Packs are one-time purchases. Credits expire 12 months from purchase. No refunds on unused pack credits.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content you upload (CV, Macro CV, Biography Statement). By uploading, you grant MeridianRoles a limited licence to process that content to provide the Service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to submit false or misleading profile information, to circumvent any rate limits or access controls, to reverse engineer or scrape the Service, or for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

Documents generated by the Service (tailored CVs, cover letters) are produced by Claude AI using your profile data. MeridianRoles makes no warranties that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular role. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before submitting any application.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. MeridianRoles is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of employment opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
